Wedding Officiant Linda is a qualified wedding officiant who is kind and open-minded. She is licensed to perform weddings in Maryland and D.C. In her opinion, the perfect wedding ceremony is one that authentically conveys the depths of a couple’s love for one another. The couple should be happy and full of gratitude knowing they have found the one person to complete and enrich their lives. Officiant Linda works with couples to create a delicate balance between individuality, tradition, and creativity in order to create a distinctive and creative wedding ceremon. She exudes warmth, patience, optimism, and friendliness.

Officiant Linda is a retired educator who received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Bowie State University in Bowie, MD, and her M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Maryland College in Westminster, MD. She taught in the Calvert County Public Schools before retiring in 2014.

Officiant Linda, who has been married to her husband for over 45 years, spent many years traveling the east coast as a Navy wife. She and her husband now reside in Maryland and have three grown children and 5 grandchildren. Her grandchildren affectionately call her, “Nonna.”

Officiant Linda’s passion for writing has enable her to publish her poetry and write several short stories and a play. Her interests also include reading, boating, gardening, cooking, and hanging out with loved ones. As a certified scuba diver, diving has also been part of her repertoire of “fun things to do!”
